Johannes Laumann, born in 1983, joined Mutares in 2016. In May 2019, he was appointed a member of the Executive Board. Following a personal sabbatical, Johannes Laumann returned to the Executive Board in July 2024 as Chief Investment Officer, responsible for M&A and Investor Relations.

Prior to joining Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, he held various management positions at Ernst & Young GmbH, Porsche Consulting GmbH and Atlas Copco’s Oil & Gas Division.

Johannes Laumann studied business law and international management at the University of Pforzheim and the Business School in Copenhagen.
