TREPEL & MAFI

TREPEL and MAFI are global providers of ground support equipment and heavy-duty transport solutions under their respective brands, holding leading positions in cargo high loaders, aircraft tractors and terminal tractor systems. TREPEL focuses on aircraft tractors, cargo high loaders and loader transporters for the aviation sector, while MAFI specializes in heavy-duty terminal tractors and transport systems for ports, logistics hubs and industrial applications.

The group operates an integrated production facility in Tauberbischofsheim, Germany, and a service location in Georgia, USA, employing around 410 people and generating revenues of approximately EUR 150 million. It serves a diversified international customer base through a global sales and service network spanning more than 115 countries and over 50 service partners.

Strategy

TREPEL and MAFI have completed an initial transformation program focused on operational optimization and cost reduction. Their goal now is to further improve profitability and pursue sustainable growth. A key part of the strategy is expanding the service business, which already accounts for around 12% of revenues and offers strong potential for recurring income.
