In 2023 Mutares acquired Arriva Denmark, Serbia, and Poland from the Arriva Group, now operating as GoCollective, MobiLitas and ReloBus after a rebranding.
GoCollective is a provider of multi modal public transport in Denmark, with business areas comprising a broad spectrum of transport and mobility services, including buses, trains, and water buses as well as a language and transportation education centre called UCplus. Annually, the company roughly transports more than 15 million passengers travelling across 80 million km.
MobiLitas is a Serbia based provider of public, regional, and international transport with accompanying services in tourism and personnel transport operating in Belgrade and the area of Požarevac. Annually, the company transports roughly 8 million passengers across 18 million km.
ReloBus in Poland is an operator with many years of experience providing transport services on urban and regional lines. The company offers passenger bus transport in Kujawy and Pomerania and provides public transport services in the Masovian Voivodeship. Annually, the company transports roughly 8 million passengers on board of its nearly 270 buses.
Strategy
The company’s strategic initiatives aim to bringing back the company as recognized and undisputed profitable market leader. Following the successful restructuring and turnaround of the legacy loss-making contracts, this will be achieved by regaining market shares in particularly in the bus division, campaigning for further opening of the rail market, enhancing passenger journeys, and diversifying its strategy towards sustainability and mobility concepts.
