FerrAl United Group is a globally operating automotive supplier of forgings, castings and and machined components & assemblies based in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. The company brings together domestic and international automotive businesses for cold, warm & hot forgings, iron and aluminium-based castings and the associated machining. The Group’s business model is structured into independently operating companies, with 5 Business Units each focused on its core technologies and product offerings.

Gesenkschmiede Schneider, Schöneweiss & Co., Falkenroth, Rasche, BEW, JECO Präzisionstechnik and Jeco Bosnia, as well as Deutsche Gesenkschmiede Wetzlar, are jointly managed under the Truck Forging umbrella and specialized in drop-forged parts and their machining. Walor intrenational, including its subsidiary Walor North America is focused on Cold and Semi-Warm Forgings, associated machining as well as assemblies up to complete transmissions. Selzer, KmB and TSM Components are focused on the machining castings and forgings. CIMOS is adding machined Turbo components and machined Aluminum castings to the portfolio and HiLo hinges and locks for a wide range of vehicle applications complete the product offering of FerrAl United. FerrAl United operates in over 30 locations worldwide with more than EUR 1 billion in revenues.

Strategy:
FerrAl United will have a significant role for the future growth development of the Mutares Automotive & Mobility segment. Our strategic goal is to become a global powerhouse for forgings, castings and machined components & assemblies for Light Vehicles and Commercial Vehicles and Off Highway powertrain, driveline, steering and chassis applications

Within FerrAl United, there is significant synergy potential in finance, sales and engineering through the sharing of know-how and product technologies, joint purchasing and in full utilization of our global footprint. The main goal is to accelerate growth through continuous innovation and improvements within a strong and unique network across all FerrAl United divisions.
