Mutares AG: Subsidiary Donges SteelTec completes transaction to acquire Kalzip Group
- Sales increase of Donges SteelTec to over EUR 100 million annually

Munich/Darmstadt, October 8, 2018 – Donges SteelTec, a subsidiary of Mutares Group (DE000A2NB650), successfully completed the acquisition of the Kalzip Group from Tata Steel Europe last week. Annual sales of the Donges Group increases to approx. EUR 110 million as a result of the transaction, and the number of employees to more than 400. The Group has locations in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, England, Singapore, India and Dubai.
The combined product portfolio of Donges and Kalzip comprises steel bridges for road, rail and footway construction, engineering and industrial steel construction for buildings, as well as aluminium roof and facade solutions for new projects or refurbishments.
Recent reference projects include the Danube Bridge in Linz, the launch table for the Ariane 6 rocket for ESA, the roof refurbishment of Wembley Stadium in London and the partial construction of the logistics and ferry terminal in Lübeck.
