mutares acquires A+F, a leading manufacturer of final packaging solutions

mutares AG (ISIN: DE000A0SMSH2) today announced the acquisition of A+F Automation + Fördertechnik GmbH (“A+F”) from the OYSTAR Group. A+F is a leading manufacturer of end-of-line packaging solutions. The company is based in Kirchlengern, Germany. With 179 employees, A+F generated sales of around EUR 30 million in 2013.

With a wide range of fully automated end-of-line packaging solutions, A+F has been a well-established partner of the Dairy, Beverage, and Food industries for many years. In addition, the company is pursuing expansion into other industry applications. For the OYSTAR Group the disposal marks a further step in its strategy to focus on its core business. The transaction is still subject to approval by the German Federal Cartel Authority.
