Fast and time-critical transport solutions
inTime Express Logistik GmbH, based in Isernhagen near Hanover, is specialized in time-critical transport solutions since its foundation in 1987. The inTime Group includes Trans-Logo-Tech (TLT), a 5PL supply chain service provider based in the Stuttgart area and Routewise, a joint venture with Orbit, a digital marketplace including a control tower and shipper TMS.
With around 400 employees and annual sales of approximately EUR 100 million, inTime offers reliable courier, express, and special logistics services throughout Europe, including the transport of special/dangerous goods like lithium-ion batteries. The company primarily serves customers in the automotive industry, the electronics sector, and industrial production, focusing on digital processes, agile logistics, and maximum flexibility combined with a premium customer service.
inTime has its own branches in Germany, Poland, Hungary, Romania, and Sweden, offering a comprehensive network for Europe-wide transport.
Strategy:
The strategic focus of inTime Group is on operational streamlining and customer-oriented sustainable growth. A key lever is diversification into new industries beyond the automotive industry – such as agricultural technology, renewable energies, and aviation – to tap additional revenue potential. At the same time, digitalization is being driven forward: the introduction of new systems is intended to automate and accelerate dispatching, load planning, and order entry. The use and expansion of Routewise as a customer tender platform also promises significant increases in revenue.
