KGaA (ISIN: DE000A2NB650) has signed an agreement to acquire Natura sp. z o.o. from Pelion S.A. The company will strengthen the Retail &amp; Food segment of Mutares as a new platform investment. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Natura sp. z o.o. (\u201cNatura\u201d or \u201cthe company\u201d) is one of Poland\u2019s leading beauty retailers, operating 217 physical stores across the country along with an online shop under the &#8220;Natura&#8221; brand. The company\u2019s extensive product portfolio includes a variety of items across categories such as Hygiene, Perfume, Make-up, Face &amp; Body, and Haircare, featuring both well-known international brands and Natura\u2019s own high-quality private labels. With a workforce of more than 800 employees, Natura generated revenues of approximately EUR 100 million in the fiscal year 2023. Headquartered in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Poland, the company also operates a central warehouse in the Masovian Voivodeship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis transaction is an opportunity for Natura to develop dynamically, to adapt its offer to the changing needs of consumers and to strengthen its position on the competitive but promising cosmetics and drugstore market in Poland. The new owner will strengthen Natura&#8217;s potential and the company&#8217;s growth opportunities.
