Acting and doing business sustainably – this is what we at Mutares are committed to. We are aware of our responsibility for the environment and society and have firmly anchored this in our corporate philosophy. This applies to us as a private equity company as well as to each of our portfolio companies. By signing the UN Global Compact in 2021, we are aligning our actions with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and trying to reduce CO2<\/sub> emissions where possible. Nevertheless, due to our active on-site management of our portfolio companies, it is essential to make some business trips by air.<\/p>\n

That is why this year we are once again offsetting the CO2<\/sub> emissions of all flights taken by our Holding company employees in the past year 2021 via the climate protection organization atmosfair. atmosfair develops UN-registered projects in the fields of renewable energies and energy efficiency in developing countries. This not only saves CO\u2082, but also promotes sustainable development through technology transfer and poverty reduction.<\/p>\n
