Mr. Friedrich will take responsibility for finance and administration.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Friedrich has worked for mutares as the Head of Finance since 2012. Prior to his work at mutares, Mark Friedrich followed a career as auditor at Ernst &amp; Young (EY) which he left as a Manager after seven years. After completing his certification as auditor and tax consultant, Mr. Friedrich specialized at EY in auditing and consulting private equity companies and investment funds.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr. Bloching, chairman of the supervisory board, commented: \u201cThe board is pleased to appoint Mr. Friedrich as a new member of the Executive Board. He has done an exceptional job in the past three years and enjoys great trust from our Supervisory Board.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Executive Board of mutares AG now consists of five members: The founders and Co-CEOs Dr. Axel Geuer and Robin Laik manage the M&amp;A business. Dr. Wolf Cornelius and Dr. Kristian Schleede supervise the operations and the restructuring of the portfolio companies.
